In Remembrance

I am sad to report that Pat Mulleavy notified Gery Cruz on 09/05/2023 that Bernie Coffee passed away.  At this time, I have no further details.

Al Moore passed away in his kitchen in Bakersfield on August 9th.   No cause of death was given by KCSO maybe a heart attack.   Looking for any photos stories memories you have of Al. Send to George Garcia  

Harry Packer died the morning of 08/07/2023. Harry was one of the better players at L.A.A.C. In the 60s along with Arnold Aguilar; Morrie Singer; Gabe Enriquez; Bill Feivou; George Brotemarkel; Alex Boisseree etc…Just so you know he was inducted into the Southern, California Handball Hall of Fame a few months back, which I’ve heard

John Bazacas was from Newport Beach. John opened The Newport Beach Athletic Club in 1971 and was also a competitive handball player. He and his family were friends to the handball community opening up the club for many handball events.

Jim Crews, from San Bernardino, played handball for 60 years and was a frequent participant and contributor to local and national tournaments. 

He passed away on March 18th. He was 94 years old.  Services  April 12th at 1130am  St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church13360 Valleyheart Pl, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423.
